Glasswerks specializes in producing insulating glass units (IGUs) designed for maximum energy efficiency and performance as compared to standard single-pane, monolithic glass options. Our IGUs consist of two or more lites of glass separated by an aluminum or silicone spacer that seals a layer of argon gas or dehydrated air between the two panes. This layer of gas between the two lites of glass lends our IGUs significantly-enhanced insulative properties, saving customers on energy costs without sacrificing aesthetics.

Glasswerks Insulating Glass Unit Specifications

At Glasswerks, we are capable of producing IGUs with G3 Seal spacers in sizes up to 126″ by 236″, and our IGUs are compatible with our lamination, GlassFX, silkscreen, spandrel, and bent-glass options. Bent glass insulating units are available in sizes to 130″ x 100″. Our IGUs are produced in accordance with ASTM E2190 standards as well as International Green Construction Code requirements.
