Connecting with Architects and Facade Professionals in the Heart of LA

The Glasswerks exhibit at Zak World of Façades — Omni Los Angeles, April 9, 2026. Sales Managers Terry Del Rey and Louie Plascecia all smiles with Facades+ organizers.
Facades+ Los Angeles brought together some of the sharpest minds in architecture, building enclosure, and facade engineering — and Glasswerks was there, booth staffed, team ready, and genuinely glad to be in the room.
We’ve been fabricating architectural and residential glass in Southern California for decades. We know this market, we know these buildings, and we know the people who design and build them. Events like Facades+ give us the chance to show up for that community in person — which, in our industry, still counts for a lot.
What Facades+ Is — and Why We Show Up
Facades+ is a national symposium series focused exclusively on building enclosures. The Los Angeles edition pulls in architects, structural engineers, facade consultants, general contractors, and glazing specialists who are actively working on some of the most technically demanding projects in the Western U.S. — high-rise curtain walls, complex mixed-use developments, signature residential towers, and adaptive reuse buildings where the envelope has to work harder than ever.
These aren’t casual attendees. They’re decision-makers and specifiers. When they walk a show floor, they’re looking for partners they can trust on their next project — fabricators who understand the difference between what’s possible and what’s buildable. That’s exactly where Glasswerks lives.
“We don’t just make glass. We solve problems for architects and contractors who need a fabricator that can keep up with their vision.”
Our Team on the Floor
Our exhibit was active from the first session to the last. Architects came to dig into specs. Contractors arrived with lead time questions. Consultants brought project scenarios that needed a real conversation — and we had those conversations all day long.

Glasswerks Sales Manager Terry Del Rey letting all attendees know what Glasswerks has to offer.
What stands out at an event like this isn’t any single conversation — it’s the cumulative energy of a room full of people who care deeply about buildings. We got to walk through real projects, answer technical questions, and introduce Glasswerks to professionals who hadn’t worked with us before. Some of our strongest client relationships started exactly this way.
Faces Behind the Fabrication

Glasswerks Sales Manager Louie Plascencia advising one of Facades+’s attendees Glasswerks’ capabilities and how we can contribute to any facade project.
One thing we take pride in at Glasswerks is that our sales team genuinely knows the product. When an architect asks about coating performance under specific ratings, or a contractor needs to confirm whether a jumbo unit can hit a particular dimension, our team doesn’t need to go look it up. That depth of knowledge builds trust quickly — and it showed throughout the day at Facades+.
We also believe there’s real value in being visible within the architectural community beyond just responding to RFQs. When design and construction professionals see Glasswerks showing up at events like this — year after year, informed and engaged — it reflects something about who we are. We’re not just a vendor. We’re invested in the same industry our clients are building.
To everyone who stopped by, asked hard questions, and shared what they’re working on — thank you. We look forward to seeing those projects come to life. And if you didn’t get the chance to connect with us at the show, we’re always ready to talk glass.
