Glass That Holds Its Shape — and Its Standard
When your project calls for glass that bends without compromise, Glasswerks delivers. Using sophisticated, computer-controlled hot-bend glazing equipment, we produce bent glass with minimal distortion and significantly reduced iridescence compared to traditional slump-bent methods. From sweeping curtainwalls to curved railings and bent shower doors, our facilities house two dedicated fabrication lines staffed by specialists committed to precision on every unit.
Glasswerks offers a comprehensive range of bent glass products to meet virtually any architectural specification. Whether your project calls for a simple curved monolithic lite or a complex insulating unit with a high-performance coating, our fabrication lines are equipped to deliver.
- Bent tempered monolithic
- Bent laminated
- Bent insulating units (IG)
- Bent soft-coat Low-E (including bent-tempered IG)
- Bent shower doors and enclosures
- Custom configurations available upon request
Please refer to the following parameters when preparing your project specifications or submitting a quote request. If your project falls outside these ranges, contact our team — we’re happy to work through the details with you.
- Maximum glass size: 130″ × 100″
- Minimum glass size: 18″ × 12″
- Minimum radius: 24″ for 4–6mm glass
Our computer-controlled hot-bend process delivers a measurably better product than conventional slump-bent glass. The difference is visible — and it matters on the jobsite and in the finished building.
- Reduced optical distortion — Precise control of temperature and pressure throughout the bend minimizes the wave and roller distortion common with traditional slump bending.
- Lower iridescence — Our process produces significantly less of the rainbow-like color shifting that becomes visible under angled or raking light, resulting in a cleaner, more refined appearance.
- Consistency at scale — Two dedicated fabrication lines and a team focused exclusively on bent glass mean tight tolerances are maintained across large orders and complex project scopes.
Glasswerks is certified to produce soft-coat, Low-E, bent-tempered IG units — a combination that demands exacting process control and is not offered by all fabricators. All bent glass is produced in-house at our Los Angeles facility, giving us full control over quality, scheduling, and project coordination.
Our team works directly with glazing contractors, architects, and project managers from specification through delivery to make sure every unit meets the requirements of your design.
