Glasswerks is honored to have fabricated precision architectural glass for the Las Vegas Raiders Headquarters and Intermountain Health Performance Center — one of the most boldly designed training facilities in professional football.
Silver and Black, Built in Glass
Designed by MANICA Architecture in partnership with LEO A DALY and completed in 2020, the Las Vegas Raiders Headquarters and Intermountain Health Performance Center sits on 30 acres in Henderson, Nevada — just eleven miles from Allegiant Stadium. The 335,000-square-foot complex includes a three-story, 135,000-square-foot office building, a 150,000-square-foot field house with one-and-a-half indoor football fields, three outdoor practice fields, and a 50,000-square-foot performance center.
The facility’s exterior is one of the most visually distinctive in professional sports — an angular, armor-plated facade wrapped in dark tinted and grey glass that channels the Raiders’ iconic silver and black identity directly into the architecture. The glass skin reads darker from the outside while remaining more translucent from within, giving players and staff an open, light-filled environment without sacrificing the building’s aggressive exterior character.
Glasswerks fabricated architectural glass throughout the headquarters, working alongside our glazing partners to deliver every unit with the precision a building of this caliber demands.
Our Scope of Work
The Raiders don’t settle, and neither did the glazing scope on this project. Glasswerks supplied the following:
Exterior Curtainwall
The building envelope features insulated glass units composed of ¼” Guardian SNX 51/23 on grey as the exterior lite, with a 9/16″ G3 black spacer, argon fill, and ¼” grey inner lite. The SNX 51/23 coating employs triple-silver technology, managing solar heat gain so the interior remains comfortable while reducing demand on mechanical systems — a critical consideration in the Nevada desert climate. The grey substrate reinforces the Raiders’ silver and black color palette across the entire building skin, tying architecture and brand identity together without a single painted surface.
Laminated Railing Glass
The exterior balconies are lined with laminated safety glass railings fabricated to deliver structural integrity and clean, uninterrupted sightlines. The laminated construction ensures the glass performs as a unified system under impact, meeting both safety code requirements and the aesthetic standard expected of a world-class NFL facility.
All Glass Doors
Glasswerks fabricated the full complement of glass doors throughout the building, providing transparent, high-clarity entries built to withstand constant daily use at a high-traffic professional sports headquarters.
“A facility built around elite performance deserves glass that delivers on every level — thermally, structurally, and aesthetically. Getting to contribute to one of the NFL’s premier training complexes is the kind of work that defines what we do.”
