On April 9, 2026, Glasswerks — Southern California’s premier architectural glass fabricator — joined some of the most influential names in façade design, building enclosure engineering, and architectural innovation at Zak World of Façades Los Angeles, held at the Omni Hotel in the heart of downtown LA.

It was a full day of expert-led sessions, live exhibits, and the kind of face-to-face industry conversation that no email or video call can replicate. For a company built on craftsmanship and collaboration, there was nowhere we’d rather be.

About Zak World of Façades

Zak World of Façades is a globally recognized conference series with over 200 editions hosted across 44 countries, drawing more than 65,000 delegates worldwide. The Los Angeles edition brought together architects, developers, façade consultants, sustainability engineers, enclosure specialists, and general contractors — the exact community that Glasswerks serves every day through precision glass fabrication and manufacturing.

This year’s program covered advances in curved architectural glass, fire-resilient building envelopes, high-performance façade detailing, office-to-residential adaptive reuse, and the future of sustainable façade materials. For an architectural glass fabricator deeply embedded in Southern California’s design and construction ecosystem, staying connected to these conversations isn’t optional — it’s how we stay sharp and keep our capabilities aligned with where the industry is heading.

“Glass isn’t just a building material — it’s the canvas for some of the most ambitious architecture in the world. Being in the room where that vision is shaped matters to us.”

Connecting with Architects, Designers & Façade Professionals

The Glasswerks booth was a hub of activity throughout the day. Architects, façade consultants, and project managers stopped by to explore our glass sample collections, dig into technical specifications, and talk through what’s possible for their upcoming projects. From coating options and performance specs to custom fabrication capabilities, our team was ready to go deep on every question.

One of the most energizing parts of the day was watching delegates engage with our physical glass samples. There’s something that happens when an architect or façade consultant holds a sample, studies a coating in real light, and starts thinking out loud about a project they’re working on. That’s the moment an introduction becomes a partnership — and we had plenty of those moments on the floor.

We reconnected with longtime collaborators and met new contacts across the façade and construction community — design principals, enclosure consultants, general contractors, and project managers from firms of all sizes. All were the kind of professionals who push the built environment forward — and exactly the community Glasswerks is proud to be part of.

Our Glass Fabrication Capabilities on Display

Our exhibit showcased the full breadth of Glasswerks’ glass fabrication capabilities, giving attendees hands-on access to product samples and technical literature across our core product lines. As a full-service architectural glass fabricator based in Southern California, we manufacture glass solutions for residential, commercial, and large-scale architectural projects across the region and beyond.

Beyond our own booth, the broader exhibit floor was a reminder of the remarkable ecosystem that surrounds architectural glass. Façade system providers, aluminum extruders, sealant manufacturers, panel fabricators — all under one roof, all working toward the same goal: better buildings. As a glass fabricator rooted in Southern California, events like this keep us connected to the larger picture of where our work fits in the built environment.

Why Industry Events Like This Matter

Fabricators who only operate from the shop floor miss something important. The projects that demand the best glass — the high-performance curtain walls, the jumbo insulating units, the curved laminated panels for signature architectural facades — start with conversations between architects and consultants long before a purchase order is written. Being present at events like Zak World of Façades means Glasswerks is part of those early conversations, helping shape what’s possible before specs are locked.

It also means that when you’re ready to bring your next façade project to a fabricator, Glasswerks isn’t a cold call. We’re a familiar name with a face behind it — a team you’ve already talked to, already trusted with questions, already seen show up for the industry. That matters.

A sincere thank you to the Zak World of Façades organizing team for putting together such an outstanding event, and to every architect, consultant, and building professional who stopped by our booth. If you weren’t able to connect with us at the show and have an upcoming project you’d like to discuss, we’d love to hear from you.
